Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have 5+ years of experience in architecting or designing large-scale compute clusters. A strong knowledge of modern GPU platforms, such as NVIDIA or AMD, along with hands-on expertise in HPC interconnect technologies like InfiniBand and RoCE, is essential. A background in systems architecture, hardware reliability, and networking fundamentals is important, as well as experience in building automation and telemetry pipelines using scripting languages such as Python or Go.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will entrust you with leading the design of large-scale, next-generation GPU clusters that support advanced AI workloads. Your core responsibilities will include designing and defining scalable cluster architectures that cover compute, interconnects (both InfiniBand and Ethernet), storage, and orchestration layers. I will ask you to model and assess AI/ML workloads, guiding design choices on latency, bandwidth, and GPU density. Collaboration is key; you will work with network specialists to implement and validate ultra-low latency, high-throughput solutions at various scales. Partnering with storage teams to optimize training data access and ensuring reliability through observability will also be part of your duties. You will collaborate closely with teams in reliability, networking, storage, and data centre engineering to deliver designs that scale seamlessly.
