Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone with solid experience as a fullstack or backend-heavy developer who has a strong grasp of modern web architecture.
- Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL is essential, and some experience with TypeScript is desired.
- Ideally, you should have experience with React and/or backend tools such as Celery, Redis, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, or BigQuery (though this is not essential).
- I value clear communicators with a collaborative mindset who can break down complexity into actionable work.
- I seek a self-starter with a track record of impact, preferably in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
- You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving team with shifting priorities and a lot of autonomy.

Responsibilities
- You will develop, maintain, and scale backend services and APIs that power our cross-platform learning product.
- Working closely with engineers, designers, and product leads, you will build polished, intelligent, and high-performing features.
- You will contribute across the full stack where needed, with a primary focus on backend development.
- Integrating key learning mechanics like gamification, personalization, and spaced repetition into the core platform will be part of your role.
- You will take ownership of feature delivery end-to-end - from architecture and implementation through to deployment and iteration.
- Participating in code reviews and sprint planning will help maintain high development standards.
