Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Tier 2 support role, ideally at an MSP.
- Strong skills in Microsoft 365, specifically Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Proficient in Active Directory and Azure AD administration.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including DHCP, DNS, and firewall/VPN configuration.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with PSA systems like HaloPSA.
- Self-driven with the ability to solve problems independently.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated helpdesk tickets through remote and phone support.
- Support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Administer Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Deploy and maintain client systems such as laptops, desktops, servers, firewalls, and switches.
- Configure and support VoIP systems (e.g., 3CX, Gamma).
- Assist with server/email migrations, SharePoint builds, VPNs, and cloud backups.
- Perform proactive maintenance checks to minimize client downtime.
- Log all support actions in HaloPSA for team visibility and documentation.
- Provide clear and friendly support to clients of varying technical backgrounds.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
- Visit client sites across Sussex for proactive and emergency support (vehicle required).
