Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with a solid background in enterprise IT experience. You should have excellent experience in delivering Windows Endpoint Security and possess skills in design, engineering, and architecture for enterprise-scale environments. Competency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) is essential, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. A genuine interest in developing expertise in cybersecurity technologies will be highly valued.
Desirable skills include experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and E5 security tools, knowledge of disk encryption and operating system hardening, familiarity with Defender for Cloud Apps, and experience with Splunk, SCCM/Intune. Additionally, Agile and DevOps experience, as well as Unix or MacOS system administration knowledge, will be beneficial.
Responsibilities
As part of our busy Endpoint Security team in Glasgow, you will work within a global cross-disciplined Agile team to deliver endpoint security solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and deploying new technologies from proof of concept through to production.
- Engineering preventative, detective, and hardening controls for Windows endpoints.
- Driving automation across environments of 50,000 endpoints.
- Troubleshooting complex issues across OS, hardware, network, and storage.
- Continuously improving solutions through cooperation, peer review, and retrospectives.
- Supporting the extension of endpoint security into cloud platforms including Azure and AWS.
