Requirements
Must:
- Experience within systems testing, electronics testing, or RF testing environments
- Familiarity with RF test equipment including Spectrum Analysers and RF Simulators
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work to strict procedures and project timelines
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Candidates must hold active SC Clearance or be a British National eligible to undergo SC Clearance
Responsibilities
- Install and configure test equipment
- Execute system and subsystem testing activities
- Perform initial fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Conduct first-level quality inspections
- Prepare test reports and associated documentation
- Support sensor calibration and test facility preparation
- Track and support issue resolution through to closure

We are a leading engineering firm located in Portsmouth, offering an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer / Systems Test Technician. Our work is fully onsite and involves a secure engineering environment. We provide a collaborative team atmosphere with rotational shifts to support work-life balance. Candidates must be comfortable working in a regulated technical environment and will undergo vetting checks due to the sensitive nature of our projects.
