Requirements

Must:
- Architecture frameworks, best practice design, and scalable solution patterns. - Strong understanding of deployment, service transition, and operational readiness. - TOGAF certification (desirable). - ITIL certification (desirable). - Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (desirable). - CISSP certification (desirable). - Experience with Dynamics 365 (D365) and Microsoft Common Data Model (desirable). - Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methods (desirable). - Extensive background in solution architecture or technical design roles. - Strong experience designing solutions in Microsoft Azure environments. - Experience with data platforms, integrations, and reporting environments. - Leading technology change while applying architectural standards and ensuring best practice delivery. - Ability to produce clear high-level and low-level technical designs. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - Understanding of business processes to ensure alignment with business goals. - Research-led approach to selecting technology options that best meet requirements.

Responsibilities

- Lead solution design across major programme workstreams, aligning with architectural vision and technical standards. - Support cloud and data governance; define best practice for integration and reporting. - Maintain and enforce standards for API design, integration patterns, data schemas (including Medallion architecture), and security (RBAC, data classification). - Oversee adherence to the Microsoft Common Data Model and ensure consistent integration catalogue delivery. - Maintain central repositories for integration and reporting design patterns. - Act as design gatekeeper—review, approve, and guide new integration and schema proposals with Enterprise Architecture. - Work closely with suppliers to ensure value from Microsoft Azure and related technologies. - Identify and escalate technical risks, providing mitigation options.

Description


We are seeking a Solution Architect to play a key role within our Technology function, responsible for shaping solution design for a major business programme. This position is hybrid, allowing up to one day per week in the office in London, and offers a competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £75,000 per annum, along with benefits such as 30 days annual leave, healthcare, family care, a pension contribution of up to 10%, and support leave. You will work closely with engineering teams and suppliers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure outcomes while ensuring solutions align with our architectural standards.
