Requirements
Must:
- A background in enterprise architecture within large, complex environments, ideally within government / public sector environments
- Excellent communicator who can influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
- Strong experience in governance, risk management and shaping architectural standards
- Commercial awareness and ability to evaluate suppliers
- Leadership skills to build and grow architecture capability
- Qualifications: TOGAF or ISEB essential
- Plus one of: ITIL, IT4IT or COBIT
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain clear architecture strategies and roadmaps that connect business goals with technology outcomes
- Lead initiatives that cut across teams and accelerate delivery
- Provide expert guidance on design decisions to ensure scalability, resilience and cost-effectiveness
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to align priorities and reduce risk
- Keep ahead of industry trends and bring fresh thinking to the organisation
