Requirements
Must:
- Strong proficiency in SAS Viya 3.5, RTENG, and Enterprise Guide
- Extensive experience reverse-engineering data models from complex, multi-source Oracle databases
- Ability to profile 20 disparate data sources and create scalable, unified schemas
- Familiarity with the Government Digital & Data (DDaT) framework at Working or Practitioner level
Responsibilities
- Design the blueprints to move data from a large-scale Oracle Enterprise environment into SAS Viya 3.5
- Build the data architecture for real-time risking engines using SAS RTENG and SAS Studio V
- Implement automated ingestion pipelines using approved Enterprise Architecture (EA) integration patterns
- Manage metadata and data dictionaries using MS Purview to ensure compliance with strict security and decommissioning policies
Description
We are a dynamic team within a major Government Digital Hub based in Telford, offering a hybrid work model with 2 days per week on-site. We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the data design for our high-priority Risk & Intelligence platform. This role is crucial as we aim to migrate and automate complex data flows into an innovative AI-powered analytics environment. This position is for a duration of 6 months, with a delivery milestone scheduled for April 2026. Competitive daily rates are offered.
