We are looking for a confident and capable IT leader with a forward-thinking mindset. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills, and be an agent for change across a complex technology environment. Energy, resilience, and a clear vision for how digital services can evolve to better support students, staff, and our wider institution are essential. While experience in a higher education environment would be beneficial, it is not essential.
Responsibilities
As the Deputy Head of IT and Digital, you will thrive on driving change, improving systems, and supporting innovation across a complex technology landscape. Working closely with the Head of IT and Digital, you will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor, delivering operational excellence while championing a culture of continuous improvement. Your role will have a direct impact on our digital direction, helping to modernize infrastructure and enhance services that support our students and staff. You will also oversee project delivery and cyber security initiatives. Occasional travel between our Bournemouth and London campuses may be required.
