Requirements
Must:
- I have 5 years of experience developing dashboards using Qlik Sense (QlikView experience is also beneficial).
- I am proficient in the Qlik Management Console and managing large-scale Qlik environments.
- I possess strong data modeling and performance tuning skills.
- I have excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- SQL knowledge is desirable.
- Experience with JavaScript or the MEAN stack is advantageous but not essential.
- Familiarity with ETL, data warehousing, or other BI tools is a plus.
- I have a background in financial services or capital markets, which is preferred.
- I am comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
- I am proactive, self-motivated, and highly analytical.
Responsibilities
- I will develop, enhance, and support Qlik Sense applications.
- I will design and integrate Qlik Sense solutions to solve complex data problems.
- I will load and transform large datasets from multiple sources into QVD files.
- I will manage and optimize enterprise-scale Qlik environments.
- I will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective dashboards.
- I will act as a subject matter expert for Qlik Sense across the project.
- I will participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and estimations.
Description
We are an established technology consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Qlik Sense Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across both business and technology functions to design, develop, and manage both new and existing Qlik Sense dashboards. You will be involved from early requirements gathering through to data modeling and dashboard delivery, helping to create data-driven solutions that support critical decision-making processes. This role sits within a broader client experience and front-end team, delivering across multiple high-impact initiatives. The position is primarily Belfast-based, with on-site client work in Dublin (2 days per week during the initial project phase).
