Must:
We require a candidate with at least 8 years of QA experience, demonstrating strong hands-on capabilities in both automation and manual testing. Expertise in tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and hybrid automation frameworks (keyword-driven, data-driven, BDD) is essential. Additionally, strong experience in testing APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and managing test environments is necessary. Experience within the banking or financial services domain is preferred. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tools like Jenkins, UDeploy, Bitbucket, TeamCity, and SonarQube is also highly regarded. The ideal applicant should have the ability to analyze complex test requirements, adapt to changing priorities, and lead initiatives effectively in high-pressure environments. A proven track record of managing end-to-end QA for large-scale, mission-critical applications, particularly in regulatory or compliance contexts, is important.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead quality assurance across complex projects from the planning phase through to post-production support. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various testing types, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing. You will be responsible for defining, developing, and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios to ensure full coverage and traceability. Collaborating with global stakeholders across development, product, and regulatory teams to drive quality throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) will be part of your duties. Additionally, you will create and manage documentation and QA reporting utilizing tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr.

We are exclusively recruiting for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer based in Northern Ireland to take on a hands-on role in delivering high-quality, enterprise-scale systems in a hybrid automation/manual environment, with a strong emphasis on innovation, quality, and collaboration. This position requires 2 days onsite in Dublin every week, with expenses covered.
