We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role, ideally within a managed service provider (MSP) environment. You should possess strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to resolve complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential. We value eagerness to learn and develop both technical and interpersonal skills. A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel to client sites when needed is required. Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Fortinet, Dell) are advantageous, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience in IT or a related discipline is preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver remote and on-site technical support for a wide range of IT systems and services. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and cloud platforms. Your responsibilities will also include deploying, configuring, and managing Windows servers, workstations, and network infrastructure. You will set up and maintain VPN connections (both client-based and site-to-site IPSec) and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Regular monitoring, patching, and system maintenance tasks will be part of your duties, alongside supporting infrastructure and cloud project delivery from planning through execution. Additionally, you will maintain clear documentation on system configurations, client environments, and incident resolution and provide technical guidance to junior team members when required. Direct communication with clients to ensure their expectations are met and that their support experiences are positive will also be a part of your role.

You will work on a mixture of remote and on-site engagements, supporting infrastructure, cloud platforms, and user environments. This role is ideally suited for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, service-oriented setting. Key technical expertise includes knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Remote Desktop Services), networking (VLAN configuration, routing fundamentals, switches, and firewall rules/policies), and VPN configuration and troubleshooting. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery in both physical and virtual environments, experience with security tools, and knowledge of RMM/PSA platforms is also desired.
