I am seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong infrastructure and security background who thrives on delivering dependable, secure IT services in a dynamic environment. I expect you to bring proven experience managing Microsoft 365 environments at the tenancy level, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD. You should have strong technical knowledge of Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and modern endpoint management best practices. Additionally, hands-on experience managing Aruba WiFi networks or similar enterprise wireless solutions is essential. A solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance, and risk management is also required. I value experience in leading small IT teams, managing vendors, and supporting critical systems and applications. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary, as you will be dealing with everyone from engineers to executives.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on leadership position, you will lead the IT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of reliable, secure, and high-performing IT services across the organization. Your key responsibilities will include managing and optimizing the Microsoft 365 tenancy to ensure seamless integration, governance, and user experience. You will lead the configuration and administration of Intune and Defender for Endpoint, driving device compliance and endpoint security throughout the organization. Furthermore, you'll oversee the design and maintenance of WiFi infrastructure (Aruba) to support high availability in both office and factory environments. Delivering robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions will also be part of your role, as well as driving service excellence across the IT Service Desk using ITIL-aligned processes and performance metrics. You will maintain and enhance our organization's cybersecurity posture, ensuring compliance with ISO27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials. Your leadership will help mentor and develop a small but capable IT team, building a culture of accountability and growth.
