Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience delivering complex network or infrastructure transformation programmes
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco enterprise networking technologies, including Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
- Understanding of datacentre and platform migrations, including virtualisation and storage technologies
- Experience working alongside internal infrastructure teams and third-party Cisco engineering partners
- Ability to manage technically complex migrations and cutover activity within live environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitation of technical planning and readiness sessions
- Comfortable operating independently in a consultancy role, focused on delivery outcomes rather than resource augmentation
Responsibilities
- Provide structured project management and continuity during the final stages of a network transformation programme
- Coordinate delivery across Cisco SDA campus networking and Cisco ACI datacentre workstreams
- Work closely with internal infrastructure teams and specialist Cisco partners to plan, sequence, and execute migration activity
- Oversee campus network and Wi-Fi cutovers into software-defined network environments
- Manage dependencies, milestones, risks, and issues across multiple parallel technical streams
- Support governance reporting and financial tracking aligned to agreed approval and control processes
- Coordinate migration schedules, technical readiness activities, and stakeholder communications
- Support the transition from programme delivery into business-as-usual operational support
Description
We are an organization completing a large-scale network modernisation programme seeking a Senior Technical Project Management consultant to support the final delivery phase. This is a remote position with a flexible rate, outside IR35, focused on providing independent coordination and assurance across complex Cisco-based network and datacentre migrations, ensuring a controlled transition into operational service.
