Requirements
Must:
- I seek candidates with excellent development skills and a depth of experience including Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs, observability and monitoring, queue technologies, and security.
- I require a detailed knowledge of best practices such as SOLID principles.
- Experience in building new and evolving microservices with an emphasis on high availability and data integrity is essential.
- Candidates should be highly experienced in test methodologies, including unit testing with JUnit, TDD, integration tests, and end-to-end testing to promote high-quality codebases.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases, with Postgres being particularly relevant, is important.
- I need someone who can support and develop complex architecture, including APIs.
- Willingness to be part of a 24/7 L3 support team (on call) is required.
- Experience in managing and resolving tickets related to incident, change, service requests, and problem processes, in accordance with the agreed PPPT / DDaT operating models, is also necessary.
Responsibilities
- Your day-to-day tasks will include developing and maintaining existing services.
- You will be responsible for updating service documentation where necessary.
- Conducting peer reviews will be part of your role.
- You will present and demonstrate changes for acceptance by the Programme Manager or their agent during Sprint Reviews.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff members will also be an important aspect of your responsibilities.
Description
- I am offering a remote working opportunity at a rate of £550 per day inside IR35.
- I will be interviewing candidates immediately.
- Current SC Clearance is required.
- Our tech stack includes backend technologies like Java v17, Spring/Spring Boot, and front-end technologies such as Angular/HTML, along with AWS Cloud services, Local Stack, Alfresco/Activiti/Camunda, Apache Kafka, MongoDB/MySQL or other RDBMS, Kubernetes/Docker, microservices architecture, security, and PKI, and KeyCloak.
