Requirements
Must:
We require you to have experience in managed service environments and a strong development background, preferably in Java or similar languages. Proficiency with Git for version control is essential, and you should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with microservices, AMQP, S3, and Oracle is desirable but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll join our specialist team to maintain a cross-domain managed service using modern Application Support and Site Reliability Engineering practices. Your duties will include building and deploying code with Java, Maven, NPM, Terraform, and Ansible. You will manage CI pipelines and automated testing with Cypress and monitor services using InfluxDB and Grafana. Additionally, you will provide 2nd and 3rd line support, address incident responses, and perform OS patching along with database housekeeping and data center operations.
Description
This is a secure, on-site contract role located in Cheltenham, requiring active DV clearance. The position is outside IR35, with a rate between £550 and £650 per day.
