Must:
We are looking for a skilled SIEM Application Engineer with expertise in Elasticsearch. You will need to have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining security information and event management (SIEM) systems. A strong understanding of threat detection and incident response is essential. Additionally, you should be prepared to work 3 days on-site in Birmingham and be local to the area.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with security analysts and architects to design and implement SIEM solutions using Elasticsearch.
- Optimize SIEM rules, alerts, and dashboards for efficient threat detection.
- Work closely with others to drive key security objectives forward.
- Create presentations and write documentation for both technical and business audiences.
- Write efficient Elasticsearch queries to retrieve relevant security events and monitor the performance of the SIEM infrastructure.
- Contribute to various security engineering projects, transitions, and transformations.
- Engage with security operations and related incident response systems.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and industry best practices.
Description
We offer a competitive daily rate of £400 - £500, depending on your experience. Please note that this position is classified as inside IR35.
