Requirements
Must:
- Proven commercial experience working as a Platform / DevOps Engineer within the public sector.
- Active SC Clearance.
- Strong, commercial experience with Terraform for IaC, and with Databricks.
- Proven track record configuring and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of Azure cloud services and components.
- Practical experience with Docker containerisation.
- Knowledge of security scanning tooling (Trivy or similar).
- Scripting proficiency in Bash (Python is desirable).
- Solid understanding of Git-based version control, specifically within Azure DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our team to design, implement, and maintain platform solutions.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Ensure the security and compliance of our platforms.
- Optimize and troubleshoot Azure cloud services.
- Utilize Docker for containerization of applications.
- Conduct security scanning and remediation using tools like Trivy.
- Support the continuous improvement of our DevOps practices.
Description
We are a well-known consultancy seeking a Platform Engineer with Active SC Clearance for a project in the public sector. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and is for an initial period of 6 months, with a competitive daily rate of up to £510.
