Must:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Database Administrator to join our Enterprise Cloud Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Oracle DBA skills and have a passion for learning new database technologies. Experience in supporting and troubleshooting within Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure is essential, along with familiarity with MySQL Server and legacy systems. Proficiency in Python programming is highly desirable, and an understanding of Unix shell scripting is a plus. We require the ability to work in agile environments and contribute as a subject matter expert, along with excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across complex teams.
Responsibilities
In this hands-on role, you will provide expert technical support and resolve escalated issues across both Oracle DB and MySQL environments. You will deliver IT provisioning, incident handling, service requests, and change management in alignment with SLAs and KPIs. Supporting service delivery and contributing to productivity improvements will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You’ll escalate risks and issues to your Line Manager with early visibility and contribute to transformational initiatives within our Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure. Additionally, you will apply Continuous Improvement (CI) methodology daily to identify inefficiencies and drive enhancements, offer analytical and innovative input to projects and operational challenges, and support automation and integration through programming and scripting.
