Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a C# .Net Developer with working knowledge of a Government Digital Service (GDS) environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical use of .Net Core and RESTful web services.
- Recent experience in developing Microservice-based solutions.
- Familiarity with object-oriented design patterns (OOAD) and design principles (KISS, SOLID, etc.).
- Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
- Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and unit testing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems, such as GitHub, and associated CI/CD tooling (ideally with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with the Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) approach.
- Proven experience delivering within SAFe programmes.
Responsibilities
- Join a business-critical GDS programme for a high-profile client.
- Develop and maintain C# .Net applications while ensuring best practices and design principles are implemented.
- Collaborate within a team to design and implement microservices.
- Ensure code quality through various testing methodologies, including TDD and BDD.
- Manage and integrate changes using version control systems effectively.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
