Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience working as a Lead Java Developer within the public sector.
- Active Security Clearance (SC).
- Expertise in Java (8/11/17+) with a deep understanding of its core libraries.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot for building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, etc.).
- Expertise in building event-driven architectures with Kafka or messaging systems.
- Strong experience with relational databases and query optimization using SQL.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and consuming REST/JSON APIs.
- Proficiency in containerizing applications using Docker for local and cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to lead the development of scalable applications and oversee the integration of microservices.
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
- Developing and maintaining robust and efficient APIs will be key in your role.
- You will implement best practices in software development and ensure that standards are followed.
