- Excellent communication skills to maintain transparency and clear documentation throughout the integration process.
- Ability to balance strategic foresight with hands-on execution expertise.
Responsibilities
- I will own the Technology Integration Strategy and Execution Plan, defining and leading the overall technology integration approach for Day 1 and beyond, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational continuity.
- I will safeguard business continuity across critical technology functions, ensuring that core systems remain stable and resilient throughout the integration process.
- I will establish agreed solutions for priority areas, driving decisions and readiness for essential collaboration and communication capabilities.
- I will lead cross-functional engagement and governance, working with various leaders to confirm their technology requirements and creating a prioritised roadmap for technology integration.
- I will manage risk, security, and compliance by implementing robust monitoring and incident response processes during business integration.
- I will coordinate readiness and assurance activities, overseeing validation exercises and ensuring strong support for critical users.
- I will act as the primary escalation and decision point for technology integration issues, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communications.
- I will ensure transparent communication and documentation for all integration decisions and progress updates, providing clear visibility on plan execution and any risks.
Description
This role offers a competitive daily rate of £800 - £950, and we are seeking someone who can work in a hybrid setting, with visits to our Leeds or London offices once a week. You will be responsible for leading the integration workstream during a major corporate merger, which requires driving a clear integration technology roadmap and collaborating with senior stakeholders for smooth execution during the first 4-6 months of the program. Your success will hinge on your ability to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation while overseeing the migration and interoperability of core platforms.
