Requirements
Must:
- Experience delivering complex technology projects in a structured delivery environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and competing priorities
- Comfortable working with third-party suppliers and virtual teams
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capability
- A recognised project management qualification (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating virtual, cross-functional project teams
- Managing projects from initiation through delivery and transition into operations
- Owning project planning, governance, risks, issues, and change control
- Managing budgets and ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and outcomes
- Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Providing regular project reporting and status updates
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders up to senior leadership level
Description
We are Hays, seeking an IT Project Manager for one of our local clients. This role is based in Bristol with a hybrid work model of 2-3 days a week in the office. We offer a competitive rate of £511 per day, inside IR35, for an initial contract period of 6 months or longer. Youll lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
