Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer with a combination of the following skills:
- Previous experience in 3rd line infrastructure support
- Proficiency in Hypervisor technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
- Active Directory Administration experience
- Familiarity with Office 365 and Exchange Online
- Expertise in Windows servers
- Knowledge of Powershell
- Networking skills (LAN, IPv4, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Managed Switches, VLANs)
- Experience with Windows (7 and 10)
- Veeam Backup knowledge is desired but not essential
- Experience in Linux/Unix administration is also desired but not essential
Responsibilities
As one of our IT Infrastructure Engineers, I will require you to:
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Manager to ensure changes are planned and implemented in a structured and assured manner
- Test the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
- Provide 3rd line support, incident management, and resolution for infrastructure issues
- Act on alerts generated by monitoring systems in a timely fashion
- Support the IT Service Desk function
- Proactively seek opportunities across the organization to enhance the infrastructure
- Document common practices, process flow diagrams, and maintain the knowledge base
