Requirements
Must:
- Active Security Clearance (SC Cleared)
- Proven experience as an IT Analyst / IT Engineer (or equivalent) in providing Laptop Refreshes, device builds, and device wipe tasks
- Ability to provide support for printers, scanners, wireless connections, VPN, etc.
- Experience in IT equipment Install/Move/Add/Change and Disposal (including End of Life support)
- Ability to track and resolve incidents and requests using a ticketing tool (ITSM)
- Capability to provide backup, restoration, and migration of user data
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to be onsite 5 days per week
Responsibilities
- Assist in refreshing laptops and building devices on-site for a prestigious end client.
- Provide technical support for different devices, including printers and scanners.
- Ensure seamless management of IT equipment across Install/Move/Add/Change and Disposal processes.
- Utilize ITSM tools to track and resolve incidents and requests effectively.
- Manage user data backup, restoration, and migration as needed.
- Conduct device pre-checks, validations, and report any Dead on Arrival (DOA) or faulty devices.
Description
We are offering a contract for 6-8 weeks, based in Bristol, with a daily rate of up to £140 (Inside IR35 - Umbrella) for the right candidate. There may be a break expected for approximately 2 weeks over the Christmas period. Immediate availability is preferred. Previous experience with an Asset Management Database (AMDB) is desirable but not essential.
