Requirements
Must:
- Experienced Data leader with governance expertise
- Strong background in delivering enterprise data solutions in complex organisations
- Deep technical expertise in data architecture, modelling, integration design, cloud data platforms, data warehousing, and API-driven interoperability
- Ability to design privacy-by-design solutions and interpret GDPR and data-protection obligations
- Experience in leading Information Governance standards
- Strong understanding of information asset management, including building or consolidating an Information Asset Register
- Proficiency in defining data migration approaches and rationalising multi-system estates
- Ability to guide senior stakeholders through complex technical decisions
- Excellent communication skills and independence
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving transformation programme
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and deliver the organisations future state data architecture
- Strengthen approach to data governance, legal compliance, and information management
- Lead on enterprise-level architectural design, integration patterns, and system interoperability
- Develop a unified data ecosystem
- Take ownership of data governance frameworks and GDPR-compliant processes
- Establish legal data handling standards and create a consolidated Information Asset Register
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders, technology teams, and external partners
- Shape long-term data strategy and deliver hands-on solution design
- Act as the technical authority driving the transformation forward
