Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as an ElasticSearch SME with Active Security Clearance (SC)
- Working experience using ElasticSearch as a core component, not just ELK logging
- Hands-on support of legacy applications and infrastructure
- Strong experience with Nginx and Apache Tomcat/HTTP
- Working knowledge of Containerisation / Virtualisation (e.g. Docker, VMware) and Linux with Shell scripting
- Hands-on experience supporting ElasticSearch integrations (indexing, query DSL, etc.) and experience supporting search-driven services (JSON, Logstash, Kibana, etc.)
- Experience with Platforms and Operating Systems including Oracle Solaris 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Windows Server 2008/2016/2019, VMware ESX v6, Docker, IBM Initiate (Master Data Management)
- Nice to have: Working experience with Java 8, 5, 6, 11, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), and JSP
- Immediate availability
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise as an ElasticSearch SME in a business critical programme
- Support legacy applications and infrastructure
- Manage ElasticSearch as a core component for various projects
- Work with Nginx and Apache Tomcat/HTTP as part of system integrations
- Collaborate on containerization and virtualization projects using Docker and VMware
- Assist in scripting and automation on Linux platforms
- Support ElasticSearch integrations and maintain search-driven services
- Engage with various operating systems and platforms as required
