Requirements
Must:
- You must have 5 years of unbroken residency in the UK.
- Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, GitHub, and OpenShift Operators.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and integration.
- Knowledge of Podman and container image management.
- Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting.
- Skills in monitoring and logging.
- Ability to script and automate for operational efficiency.
- Experience using the Elastic Container Registry.
Responsibilities
As an OpenShift Engineer, I will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Red Hat OpenShift clusters. Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying, managing, and upgrading OpenShift clusters in on-premises or cloud environments.
- Automating infrastructure and cluster configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Managing application deployment workflows using Operators and CI/CD practices via GitHub.
- Ensuring platform reliability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Implementing and managing RBAC, network policies, and secure image handling.
- Collaborating with developers and DevOps teams to support containerized workloads.
