Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for a candidate with a minimum of a 2.1 degree in IT or an equivalent technical subject.
- I require at least 5 years of experience working in a SQL Developer role or similar positions.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years working on ETL Data Migrations.
- I expect at least 3 years of experience in Azure SQL environments in a SQL Development capacity.
- Highly desirable is experience within the Insolvency or Financial Services sectors.
Responsibilities
- As a SQL Migrations Developer, you will be a vital part of a small but growing team, initially focusing on a large project to migrate a global client base from multiple legacy applications into a single global Azure SaaS product.
- You will utilize your technical expertise to design migration solutions collaboratively with the team, ensuring migrations are executed efficiently and at high volume.
- I expect you to be highly proactive—self-starting, motivating, and continuously introducing innovation and improvement within the team.
Description
- You should possess advanced skills in T-SQL, MS SQL Server, ETL and Migration Development, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and advanced Microsoft Excel. - It would be advantageous if you have experience with Azure DevOps, GIT Source Control, Jira, Confluence, and MySQL. - Desirable skills include SSRS, Power BI, SSAS, SQL utilities such as Redgate, and development experience in C#, VB .NET, PHP, or web applications. - You will need to demonstrate strong organization, technical delivery on large-scale projects, knowledge and experience of Agile processes and practices, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
