Requirements
Must:
- Strategic or hands-on security experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience adhering to cloud security best practice frameworks
- Experience utilising cloud-native security tools
- Demonstrable experience of mature cyber security practices - creating repeatable, well-documented cloud security processes and plans
- Strong stakeholder engagement ability
- Experience in maturing cloud security environments
- Experience in contributing to cyber security strategies with a solid technical cloud security foundation
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of an enterprise-scale cloud security strategy and own the journey
- Work alongside cloud infrastructure colleagues to implement security best practices
- Utilise cloud security tools and implement cloud security policies and procedures
- Tweak SecOps tools to provide accurate alerts and reporting on events related to cloud security posture
- Act as a cloud security SME within the organisation
- Develop KPIs and monitoring capabilities to assess the effectiveness of current-state cloud security policies and work to improve outputs
- Ensure policies and procedures created are well documented and repeatable
- Collaborate with internal and external SecOps teams on cloud security incident response plans
Description
We are a reputable Yorkshire-based organization currently seeking a Cloud Security SME. This hybrid role, based in Leeds, offers a salary of £55,000 to £70,000 per annum plus a 15% bonus based on performance.
