- Proficiency in translating business requirements into functional specifications
- Experience with IT software systems, particularly M365 and Power Platform
Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, I will be responsible for analyzing and understanding our organization’s business requirements, particularly how they impact technical changes in our Information Services managed/developed platforms. I will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed project requirements, ensuring they align with our business objectives and goals. Additionally, I will conduct business analysis, process mapping, and system evaluation. I will provide accessible frameworks, guidance, and training, develop business cases, project plans, and associated documentation to support the implementation of technical changes. Working closely with technical teams, I will ensure successful translation of business requirements into functional specifications and oversee the effective implementation of changes.
Description
We are a large, well-respected public sector organization looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our Information Services team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months. This role offers hybrid working options with the flexibility to blend office and home working. The position is based within a commutable distance from Canterbury, Kent. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £38,205, up to 40 days leave per year, an excellent pension scheme with generous employer contributions, and a corporate employee-funded healthcare plan in partnership with Benenden Health.
