Build and Deployment Engineer

- I will oversee the build of up to 1605 Windows 11 devices in line with the agreed deployment schedule. - Our current build facilities support a throughput of approximately 250 devices per week. - I will perform client-mandated testing procedures for all new builds, including patch updates and application installations. - I will conduct a pilot deployment to validate the supplier process and ensure that the new device/build meets expected standards. - I will physically prepare devices for shipment and load them for transportation, deploying up to 50 devices per day to identified users as per the schedule. - I will ensure that each device functions correctly and obtain Client representative sign-off. - I will provide Early Life Support for one day following each deployment block and collect legacy devices from desks to return them to the storage area for decommissioning/disposal. - I will assist with the deployment of laptops, ensuring compliance with defined Client security practices and obtaining user sign-off upon completion. - I will provide deployment completion updates to the Client at intervals agreed upon during project initiation. - I will complete re-arranged deployments and collect replaced devices as needed.
