Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on experience in application engineering and platform support for Microsoft 365 and cloud-first applications.
- Proficient in Azure data and development.
- Familiarity with tools such as CoPilot, Power BI, Loop, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and single sign-on technologies.
- Experience with source code repositories like GitHub.
- Desirable certifications including Microsoft Certified Azure, Amazon Web Services, ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile, and TOGAF.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy world-class information systems, application software, and database services according to the digital team plan using the most appropriate tools and technologies.
- Produce and maintain high-quality documentation for all applications developed, ensuring they are regularly updated.
- Research and review new and emerging technologies, products, software, and database tools to provide business opportunities and advantages.
- Maintain existing applications by collecting change requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, and conducting workshops.
- Ensure disaster recovery procedures are appropriate, coordinating with operations staff to ensure regular checks and tests.
- Provide software development and database support and advice to the Digital Team.
- Collaborate closely with system intelligence and digital teams to provide software and database solutions and technical support.
Description
We are seeking an Application Engineer for one of our local clients, offering approximately £350 per day inside IR35. The role is mainly remote, with only one day required in the office every two weeks. In this position, you will focus on Microsoft 365 and cloud-first applications, leveraging your hands-on experience with Azure data and development.
