Responsibilities
- Review scheduling software for daily deployment users.
- Print schedules and related documents; prepare user folders with “how-to” guides.
- Organize the deployment area daily (computers, pens, paperwork, signage).
- Conduct deployment meetings, explain processes, and distribute computers.
- Maintain accurate logs of computer allocations and handle changes if needed.
- Provide basic assistance on hardware, software, and data transfer queries.
- Ensure old equipment is collected and accounted for.
- Track AM and PM deployment cycles and wrap up daily operations securely.
Description
We invite you to join our leading independent technology and services company as a Technician 2 – Onsite Deployment Engineer. This is a hands-on role supporting a deployment project at the client location, where youll assist with scheduling, preparation, and customer support during device refresh activities. The position is based in Glasgow, with a daily rate of £14.54 (PAYE) or £18.87 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company). The contract is set to last from ASAP until December 31, 2025, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:30.
