Must:

- Proven ability to manage and maintain software systems
- Strong understanding of Adult Social Care Services
- Ability to develop systems to meet service area needs
- Familiarity with business processes and statutory requirements
- Expertise in analyzing and resolving issues within systems
- Skilled in developing test plans and conducting testing
- Experience in project management and change management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to document and manage change requests effectively
Responsibilities
- Ensure systems are managed and maintained, facilitating upgrades as needed
- Develop systems in line with service area requirements
- Review systems to ensure optimal use and alignment with business needs
- Understand service area functionalities and business processes
- Provide expertise on Adult Social Care Case Management Systems
- Collaborate with Systems Support Officers to resolve system issues
- Identify impacts of changes in practice or legislation on the systems
- Lead system upgrades, including testing and validation
- Develop and champion business cases for new systems-related initiatives
- Document and manage change requests for system enhancements
- Assume change manager/project manager responsibilities for new implementations
- Chair user groups focused on system improvement
Description
We are a dynamic organization seeking a dedicated professional for an outside IR35 role, initially set for 3 months with potential for extension. This hybrid position requires attendance onsite 2 days per week. We value collaboration and expertise in managing our Adult Social Care systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our service users.
