Requirements
Must:
- Deep financial markets expertise with 8 years in financial services, focusing on capital markets products, trading, investment banking operations, and securities processing.
- Proven experience implementing regulatory or operational change (e.g. EMIR, MiFID II, CFTC, SFTR) and driving process improvement.
- Strong project and program management skills, capable of planning, executing, and managing multiple initiatives under tight deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management and consulting capabilities, with experience working cross-functionally (business, compliance, legal, technology) to resolve competing requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large data sets and define business/technology requirements while understanding system design implications.
- Clear communication and leadership skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities to influence decision-making at senior levels.
Responsibilities
- Support the Change Management Lead in the day-to-day management and delivery of multiple regulatory reporting initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, program governance, and strategic objectives.
- Act as a senior change partner to business and technology stakeholders.
- Drive the definition and execution of policy, process, data, and technology changes required to meet regulatory obligations.
- Provide oversight of delivery across workstreams to ensure outcomes meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Identify delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation to avoid regulatory or reputational impact.
- Support program governance activities, including the preparation and facilitation of steering committees, forums, and working groups.
- Partner with Business Execution and Transformation teams on program oversight, financial tracking, risk management, and management reporting.
- Provide guidance and informal mentorship to junior team members to foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Description
We are excited to collaborate with a global financial client to recruit a Senior Change Business Analyst. This role focuses on Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting initiatives, specifically EMIR transaction reporting. Our ideal candidate will possess strong regulatory reporting domain knowledge and proven delivery experience in complex change environments. This position is crucial for ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance, reducing regulatory risk, and supporting our firms strategic objectives. The role is based in Belfast with a hybrid model, requiring 3 days on-site.
