Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience managing Windows Server, VMware, and Azure infrastructure
- Strong background in installing and configuring servers
- Proficient in diagnosing complex infrastructure issues
- Experience with building environments in Azure Local (HyperV) and VMware
- Knowledge of lifecycle management, platform hardening, and patch management
- Ability to identify, assess, and remediate critical vulnerabilities across various platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to provide Windows support out of hours
Responsibilities
- Support and develop the customers hybrid on-prem and cloud environment
- Contribute to service improvements and documentation
- Manage Windows Server, VMware, and Azure infrastructure
- Provide support for infrastructure projects
- Build virtual machines in both hypervisor environments
- Collaborate with a busy team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Description
We are a leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy, currently offering a 6-month contract based in Warrington with a hybrid working model (onsite for the first 3 weeks). We value a collaborative team environment and are looking for an experienced Windows Engineer to join us. This role requires flexibility and offers the unique opportunity to contribute to significant service improvements in a fast-paced setting.
