Requirements
Must:
- A Masters or PhD Degree in Computing or STEM disciplines.
- Proven experience working at the interface of research and software development.
- Experience in an R&D environment using compiled systems languages (C++, C#) or high-level scientific languages (e.g., Python, Julia).
- Strong background in scientific computing, numerical methods, or computational modelling.
- Desirable experience in machine learning, optimization, control, or probabilistic modelling.
- Familiarity with digital twins, agentic systems, reinforcement learning, or advanced optimization.
Responsibilities
- Join the Innovation Team to drive early stage technical innovation.
- Research and prototype new modelling, optimization, AI, and simulation methods.
- Design algorithms and numerical techniques for complex scientific or engineering challenges.
- Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers on promising concepts.
- Define good technical practices and ensure strong code quality through testing and documentation.
- Take full ownership of technical workstreams from initial concepts through to integration.
