Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of network security software (Meraki Cloud, Cloudflare, Mimecast)
- Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls
- Experience with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of setting up and managing Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
- Ability to manage and deploy security patches and updates
- Experience with endpoint protection solutions (antivirus and anti-malware software)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills for training and departmental coordination
- Awareness of current trends in cybersecurity threats and defense strategies
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance the security of IT systems, data, and networks
- Conduct regular security audits, assessments, and tests
- Identify and resolve vulnerabilities or breaches
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Train employees on best practices and security awareness
- Monitor the network for security threats or breaches
- Perform regular vulnerability testing and risk assessments
- Investigate security incidents and provide post-event analysis
- Manage and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
Description
We are a dedicated IT Services Team focused on ensuring the quality, wellbeing, and efficiency of our IT Security. This role has external-facing responsibilities, acting as a representative for our organization. By implementing robust security measures, we aim to significantly reduce risks related to data breaches and cyber-attacks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
