Requirements
Must:
- Software engineering background with experience in writing clean, testable automation
- Highly skilled in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab)
- Proficiency in Git branching strategies and delivering automation through Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash
- Strong containerization experience, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift
- Understanding of message queues like RabbitMQ
- Ability to implement secure by design principles and embed observability frameworks
- Experience in Microsoft .Net Stack / React, Jira/Confluence administration, SonarQube is desirable
- Strong communication skills and technical leadership abilities
- Experience mentoring others is a plus
- Appetite for staying abreast of industry trends and influencing engineering standards
Responsibilities
- Join an experienced Engineering team of 20+, focusing on standardizing engineering practices and DevOps tooling
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate processes to improve development environments
- Evaluate new tooling and drive automation within the team
- Influence changes in the Engineering department and ensure adherence to best practices in logging, tracing, and alerting
- Modernize legacy systems and manage physical infrastructure while improving release cycles
- Conduct testing through automated data refresh and environment management
- Support the development of internal tools and promote modularity and repeatability in code
