Must:
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with active DV clearance. Ideal candidates will have experience in managed service environments, a strong background in Java or a similar development language, and proficiency in Git version control. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. Desirable skills include knowledge of microservices, AMQP, S3, and Oracle.
Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will join a specialist team that maintains a cross-domain managed service utilizing modern Application Support and SRE practices. Your responsibilities will include building and deploying code using Java, Maven, NPM, Terraform, and Ansible. You will manage CI pipelines and automated testing with Cypress, monitor services using AWS, Openshift/Azure, InfluxDB, and Grafana. Additionally, you will provide second and third-line support, handle incident response, perform OS patching, and oversee database housekeeping and data center operations.
Description
This contract position is based on-site in Cheltenham, requiring 3 to 4 days per week of on-site work and is outside IR35. The daily rate ranges from £550 to £650.
