Requirements
Must:
- Experience with BACS systems or payments processing environments.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stressed users.
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Ownership mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Desirable: Experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) in production, familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management), basic SQL and Oracle database performance knowledge, and background in large-scale enterprise IT environments.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile BACS payment files to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Support critical national infrastructure operations within the programme.
- Liaise with internal teams, external clients, and banking partners to resolve issues.
- Operate within structured monitoring shifts, including potential out-of-hours support.
Description
We are hiring a Service Monitoring Analyst (BACS) to join our high-impact team responsible for the secure and timely transmission of high-value BACS payment files. This role is essential to ensuring billions of pounds in salary payments are processed smoothly each month. The position is based in Warwick with hybrid working available and has a contract length of 12 months. Please note that a minimum of five years of UK residency is required.
