Requirements

Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience: - Previous experience as a Data or Insight Analyst, preferably within social housing, local government, or public sector organizations. - Familiarity with housing-related data, including housing management systems (e.g., MRI, Northgate, Civica), along with experience analyzing housing-specific data like tenant demographics, rent arrears, and service usage (desirable). - Understanding of customer insight tools and techniques, such as surveys, focus groups, and data mining. - Proven ability to transform raw data into insights that influence business decisions and improve service delivery. - Experience with statistical techniques, including trend analysis, segmentation, and regression analysis, to provide meaningful insights. - Proficiency in SQL for querying databases. - Solid understanding of key issues in social housing, such as tenant satisfaction, void management, rent collection, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Homes England, Regulator of Social Housing).

Responsibilities

As a Senior Insight Analyst, you will: - Perform statistical analysis, data mining, and data retrieval processes on large datasets to identify trends and create management dashboards that provide in-depth insights. - Maintain a thorough understanding of core data returns, proactively discussing potential issues with Data Owners to ensure accurate dashboards. - Develop raw data into valuable insights from available and new data streams to maximize income, manage resources, and enhance process efficiency. - Handle potentially incomplete datasets, cleaning data to produce predictive modeling. - Collaborate with the ICT Quality Team to ensure robust testing prior to the release of all reports and related dashboards, while supporting change control practices within ICT & Digital Services. - Integrate and combine distinctive datasets, pulling information from multiple sources to offer the management team an at-a-glance view of the business. - Create and maintain SQL functions, procedures, and reports, as well as support the SQL data views and core record systems.

Description


We are offering a salary between £43,001 - £47,779 per annum and a flexible hybrid working pattern (2 days per week in the office). You will enjoy a 35-hour work week and benefit from 39 days of annual leave (including statutory days), a good pension scheme, and other generous benefits.
