Requirements
Must:
- Proven commercial experience as a full-stack developer in a professional environment
- Strong proficiency in PHP with extensive Laravel framework experience for building RESTful APIs
- Excellent knowledge of modern JavaScript with deep React experience
- Solid understanding of MySQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with AWS, particularly serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway via Bref/Serverless Framework)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, product-focused mindset with a desire to build high-quality software
- Experience with React Native for cross-platform mobile development (desirable)
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment (desirable)
- Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (AWS focus) (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of security best practices (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of major, groundbreaking features for our core platform
- Work closely with product leadership to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions
- Architect, build, and deploy exciting new features
- Mentor the wider development team and champion engineering best practices
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code across the full stack (Laravel APIs and React front-end)
- Collaborate on new builds and help define technical roadmaps
- Champion modern CI/CD pipelines and comprehensive testing strategies
