Requirements
Must:
- You must have several years of experience as a Data Engineer, with hands-on involvement in developing and optimizing data pipelines.
- You should possess strong knowledge of data engineering techniques, ELT processes, data quality frameworks, and data pipeline orchestration.
- Extensive experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Databricks, Snowflake, FiveTran, or Microsoft Fabric is essential.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) are required.
- Expertise in data modeling using the Kimball methodology is a must.
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities are expected.
- Excellent technical documentation skills are necessary.
*Desirable Skills and Experience:*
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts would be advantageous.
- Experience in data platform migrations and integration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow) is desirable.
- Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is a bonus.
- Certification in relevant data engineering or cloud platforms would be beneficial.

Responsibilities
As the Senior Data Engineer, I will design and deliver scalable and efficient data architectures to meet our evolving data needs. I will oversee the development of semantic data models while ensuring seamless collaboration with Data Analysts. My role will include integrating data quality measures into all phases of the data lifecycle to establish a proactive approach to data integrity and reliability. As the senior technical leader of the data engineering team, I will ensure our ELT processes adhere to best practices, leading the team to ensure data availability and pipeline orchestration. Additionally, I will play a key role in our data platform cloud migration, quickly upskilling and developing while maintaining our legacy systems.
