Requirements
Must:
- We require a Masters or PhD degree in a STEM or Computing discipline.
- We require senior-level experience, with at least 5 years working across Software Engineering and hands-on machine learning in real-world environments.
- We require proven experience with C++ and/or C#, ideally including integration of ML features into C++ applications.
- We require experience with at least one high-level scientific language such as Python or Julia.
- We require strong production-grade software development skills.
- We require technical leadership skills and a commitment to driving engineering best practices and standards.
- We prefer experience in scientific computing, time-series data, or complex data environments.
- We require the ability to work full-time, 5 days a week in our Guildford office.
Responsibilities
- We bridge the gap between advanced AI/ML and production-grade software.
- We take models from concept through to scalable deployment.
- We contribute to a newly formed team within our R&D department.
- We help instil best practice across engineering and AI delivery.
- We influence how AI capability is embedded into our product suite.
- We balance greenfield innovation with enhancing existing platforms.
- We work across structured, unstructured, and streaming data.
- We help shape how data drives product capability.
- We apply AI approaches to solve complex, real-world problems at scale.
- We support the development of robust, production-ready engineering solutions.
