Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Science, Maths, Engineering, Geology, or Computing. You should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience using C++, preferably with the Qt framework and multithreading, as well as expertise in data structures and algorithms. Desirable skills include C#/WPF/MVVM development with GUIs, Continuous Integration experience, and knowledge of GPU development. Experience in 2D/3D Graphics Development and personal projects exploring Machine Learning and AI would also be beneficial.
Responsibilities
As part of our engineering team, you will work on delivering a new suite of highly scalable products in a fast-paced environment. You will be involved in greenfield projects and will have the opportunity to engage with users to better understand their journey in order to enhance our products. Your role will be dynamic and multifaceted, requiring you to think methodically and leverage mathematical models, algorithm development, and research. We value creativity and collaboration greatly, and you will be encouraged to bring forward your ideas and suggestions for re-engineering our systems.

Our company has a robust track record, and we are on the brink of significant growth, aiming to double our headcount in the coming year, particularly within the engineering team. You will be part of an internally creative group that embraces Agile methodologies. In addition to a competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £120,000, we offer an annual bonus of up to 25%, a 10% pension match, private healthcare, and 25 days of holiday plus long-term sick cover. Our modern office provides excellent amenities and parking on site, and we are located conveniently close to the University with great transport links to London and surrounding areas in Surrey.
