Requirements
Must:
We seek a candidate with strong proficiency in SQL, SSIS, SSRS, ETL, and Power BI. Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL is essential. You should also possess knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence concepts. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for success in this role.
Responsibilities
As a Report Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing reports to support data-driven decision-making across our organization. You will collaborate closely with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that reports are accurate, efficient, and aligned with our business objectives. Your duties will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS.
- Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Utilizing SSIS to develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data integration and transformation.
- Ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our reporting solutions.
- Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to define report requirements.
- Automating reporting processes and implementing data visualization best practices.
Description
This is a contract role that will last an initial period of three months with the potential for extension. The position offers competitive pay of up to £400 per day and is classified as outside IR35. It is based in Milton Keynes, with the option for hybrid working arrangements.
