Must:

- Strong executive reporting skills with experience in high-impact presentations
- Familiarity with governance frameworks and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills for influencing senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage risk, issues, and control effectively
- Experience with integrated planning and delivery assurance
- Familiarity with project management tools, notably Clarity
- Knowledge of MetricStream is highly regarded
Responsibilities
- Drive PMO governance and control across a regulated change portfolio
- Enforce standards and methodologies to ensure delivery discipline
- Maintain high-quality plans and hold teams accountable for milestones
- Lead risk, issue, and control management activities
- Produce executive reporting, translating data into clear narratives
- Influence stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and governance
- Collaborate across Group and Entity forums to support decision-making
Description
We are a leading financial services organization partnering with Hays to find an experienced Programme PMO. This role plays a critical function in ensuring robust governance, discipline, and transparency across our complex portfolio. Offered as a 6-month initial contract with a likely extension, this position is hybrid, allowing 3 days in our London office. The rate for this role is £597/day via Umbrella.
