Must:
We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with a strong background in server management and cloud technologies. Ideal candidates should have experience with MS Server 2012/2016/2022, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V, and storage area networks (SANs). Familiarity with Exchange, O365, and Azure/cloud solutions is also highly desirable.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing our business-critical server infrastructure, storage area network (SAN), and cloud technologies. Your role will involve leading the support, build, configuration, and deployment of these systems. You will handle and resolve diverse and complex technical issues, ensuring that all Business as Usual support tickets escalated from the service desk are addressed promptly. Additionally, you will investigate escalated infrastructure problems from second-level support, analyzing their impact on users and taking necessary steps to minimize service disruption. You will also oversee the security, optimization, availability, and safe keeping of electronic data in compliance with IT Security Policy and relevant regulations.
Description
This position offers a competitive salary of £37,300 plus excellent benefits and involves a hybrid working arrangement with paid on-call responsibilities (1 in every 8 weeks). You will play a crucial role in enhancing our infrastructure by managing current systems, installing upgrades, and implementing new solutions.
